Recently I was on facebook taking a semi-long quiz, when a IM popped up from one of my friends. Bip! "Sharron has sent you a message!" (her name isn't Sharron really) I mistook this message to be from another girl I know named Sharron that is somewhat cute. Half distracted by the quiz I went through a 15 minute conversation with this person before finishing the quiz and reallizing who it acctually was. It was a diffrent girl named Sharron who did not share the same scocial niceness or physical traits with the cute girl. I then found myself scrolling through the conversation looking at what I had said. I told her I might stop by her 4-H section at fair (a mistake that was easy to make since both girs are in 4-H) I also told her that i was excited to have classes with her this year. (im not excited... anymore) But what I found most intresting about the conversation is that i didnt notice just by the things she said. There was not much diffrence in what she said vs. what the other girl would have said, witch made me think bout how all my IM conversations go the same way:

Riley: hey whats up?
Companion: not much just came home from ________'s house
Riley: awesome, what have you been up to this summer?
Companion: swimming, _______, and ________.
Riley: yeah ive been swiming a lot too!
Companion: yeah. cool.

and thats bassically it. for almost all of my conversations over the internet. Unless of corse im making plans with someone or they are telling me a story of their day, its always the same. Maybe its because online you cant add humor to your conversations as well. Maybe its because you cant read the other persons body language, and you just dont know what kind of mood they're in unless the post it on myspace:

*-jackie!-* just got home.
mood: stylish1!!

I dont know but I never start conversations on facebook or IM unless i know im getting off the computer in about 5 minutes. That way, when theres that awkward lul where you realize that you dont really have anything to say or you just dont know how to change the topic so that you can tell a story, you can just say "Talk to you later!" and log off. My mom hates talking on the phone, my sister hates texting, I hate instant messaging. why?

I don't hate texting, just you always text me while I'm at work. I hate talking on the phone more than texting...
